LA VOIE DE
L'ENGAGEMENT

Explore, meet, tell.

Engineering students at Seatech in Toulon, we are currently in New Zealand where we have completed an internship. Our goal? To return to France without taking a flight. Along the way, we will meet committed individuals and create reports on their ecological and solidarity projects.

Itinerary

In these times of ecological urgency, we no longer consider continuing to travel by plane. Yet we believe that travelling is a formative experience that opens the mind and teached tolerance, humility and independence. That is why our approach aims to discover alternative ways of travelling that are slower but also more respectful of life. Hitchhiking and public transport also give us the opportunity to connect with local populations and grasp the richness of their daily lives.

By documenting ecological and solidarity initiatives, we aim to highlight the power of commitment in creating positive changes.

We aspire that the voices (voix) of the people we meet will inspire others, in the same way that these encounters have allowed us to reflect on our own path (voie).

We can't wait to share this adventure with you!

About us

Tanguy Gibaud

Tanguy is 23 years old and comes from Biarritz. He is studying engineering, and his speciality, Sustainable Mechanical Innovation, suits him well. In fact, Tanguy is a DIY (Do It Yourself) enthusiast. At the same time, he has a diploma in coastal rescue, is passionate about surfing and dreams of living on a sailing boat. As an amateur photographer and videographer, he aims to perfect his skills.

In our project, Tanguy is in command of the website and the editing of the reports. His creativity and passion for innovation make him a key member of the team!

Dune Stora--Simonet

Dune is 22 years old and comes from the Médoc, near Bordeaux. She is a student in an engineering school, specialising in Marine Engineering. Dune is also very active in the non-profit sector, and isn't afraid to get involved in organising any kind of project that's close to her heart! What's more, she has a diploma in associative management. Always positive and full of energy, she loves cooking and discovering cultures and vegetarian food from all over the world.

In our project, she's in charge of communication and finding the projects we meet (and she's waiting for your suggestions!).
